Vardas Residence in Paphos / Cyprus by Vardastudio

This modern beauty residential project of a penthouse condominium at 600 North Fairbanks, the recently completed Helmut Jahn tower in Streeterville Chicago, IL was designed by Eastlake Studio. The client was a couple with a strong appreciation for art and design, and they were able to create some very dramatic architectural elements inside the space, while also maintaining a simplicity that amplifies the extraordinary views.

The streeterville condo unit was the only custom-designed one in the building, and was located on one of the top floors, with a full wall of windows, overlooking the city. Inside, the space consists of hardwood, stone, and a beautiful cream-colored lacquer millwork throughout. Two curved wall-like structures divide the living space and an oval element creates a semi-private study. As it faces the lviing room, it houses a TV, desk, and some other storage.
