Memorable Beach House Modern Residence in Queensland by Bark Architects

It reminds me of tropical resort when I’m seeing the exterior of Markus beach house. Although it’s contemporary which usually has a trademark of minimalist to create spacious space and space saving idea, well, I didn’t quite catch the sense of minimalist at the exterior and the interior. The contemporary home is located at about 250 meters from Marcus Beach and the architect behind this exotic house is Bark Architects.

The modern beach home is located in Queensland, Australia. The beach home really did some good job where the architect have left no stone unturned to create the right connection between the home exterior to blend well with the environment. This fantastic house main attraction is at its inner court yard. It’s definitely refreshing for the home owners to have this modern home as every window are facing the beach, so you can enjoy the breeze of wind blowing to your face from the sea during night time.

There is no need for artificial ventilation and lighting as the architect has a good use of basic sustainability principles and this way the use of lighting is kept at minimum. Bark Architects house design is truly a getaway home and a veritable place to relax. You will know as you will get a feeling of incredible peace and comfort by the shades near the windows.

Some people like their home to be square. Well, although I’m not such a fan of those square houses which are pretty identical with modern minimalist design, we will talk about this house which seems so square and the name is “Backyard House”. Thomas Schaer of SHED Architects eventually build this Backyard House right up on the hill looking down on the down town of Seattle and Elliot Bay. This house has a glass wall to give the inhabitants an optimum livability and amazing time while sitting at the living room. What’s great about the place is that it’s built green and certified. It’s going to rain in Seattle and the best thing to do for you is that you would love to have unobstructed views overlooking over the city while sitting at the living room watching the rain falling down.

Great Relaxing Vacation House at Mediterranean Coast by A-Cero Architects

The well known Spanish architecture firm A-cero has created a modern minimalism house at Sotogrande which is located Mediterranean coast. The awesome modern house is simply a luxury for a vacation home. The getaway house features with a white palette to provide the interiors with such brightness and clarity while at the same time it can create a restful, relaxing atmosphere which is just what you needed for your modern holiday home.

Occupying 400 meters square, the house organizes living areas within the two floors. The lower level will be devoted for public living and socializing areas while the upper floor intentionally built for private spaces like bedrooms and guest rooms. The architecture firm not only good in building a house but they actually also designed the furniture, like the one you see with the white lacquered pieces, a modern fabrics combined in earth tones adding towards the architecture beautifully. A rooftop patio gives the owner a great vantage point for stunning scenery and while the 90m2 swimming pool just below provide you with a great backdrop perfect for alfresco parties by day or night.
